My love for the game started when I first stepped on the diamond at 5 years old and 35 years later that love is still just as strong.  A long time ago, I set a goal for myself to provide each young athlete a solid Baseball foundation consisting of good sportsmanship, proper mechanics, “smart baseball” in a fun and easy to learn manner.

Luke got recruited by Eastern Connecticut College and was slated to be a freshman starting pitcher. Injuries plagued him in the fall and rehabbed for a year. Luke returned home and, not certain about his baseball future, attended Massasoit College. Here he pitched and played outfield and was selected to the All-Conference First team as a Pitcher and Outfielder. His last season at Massasoit, he pitched and played shortstop.  Having never played shortstop before and being a college starter at the position speaks volumes for his athleticism. He is a graduate of Bridgewater State College and played 2 years there as a pitcher.
In Luke, you are getting a very enthusiastic, experienced and knowledgeable coach . He is huge on skill development and learning the game. He is extremely dedicated and fair to his players. Luke is also lead instructor for our Hybrid Baseball Training classes and is an outstanding role model.

Started my baseball journey at the age of 5 with most of my playing career as a middle infielder, catcher and pitcher.

Played at Apponequet High School predominantly at shortstop, 2nd and lead off hitter.  Had the opportunity to play Legion ball for the Freetown VFW.

Played collegiate baseball at Massasoit Community College at 2nd base and outfield.

Started my coaching career as Head Coach of JV Apponequet Football and was undefeated.

Was the head coach of the 11u Mariners last season, also helped with 12u, 13u and Premos in the 2023 season for Atlantic Sports Performance

I am passionate about coaching the game I love to young and upcoming players.   Over time, I learned life lessons outside of the game and forged longtime friendships with past teammates.  I strive to establish an environment for my players where they can learn and be successful with preparation and due diligence required to play this game.
